Thomas Michael Hynes, 68, of Palm Coast entered into rest September 28, 2024. Tom was born in Long Island, New York to James and Maureen Hynes on January 15, 1956. Tom proudly served 22 years on the New York Police Department until his retirement. He helped during 9/11 as a search and rescue and crowd control officer without hesitation.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ivette Hynes, his children, Jose Vadi, William (Esmilsy) Lugo, Jennifer (Nicholas) Bayne, his 5 grandchildren and many other family and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 10-11am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway with a Funeral Mass at 11 am.
Tom was a great man and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
