Thomas Matthew Deasy, 72, of Flagler Beach, Florida, entered into rest October 24, 2022 with his family by his side. Thomas was born in Kansas City, Kansas to John and Lucibert Deasy, on November 28, 1949.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Deasy, his son, Thomas (Rosalind) Deasy, his grandson, Liam Deasy, his daughter, Tara (Brian) Neff, his granddaughter, Carly Griffin, and many other family and friends. Thomas was a great man who was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.
Thomas loved his family endlessly, he spent much of his childhood and adult life in Virgil, New York where he shared his love of nature with everyone around and built a log cabin in the woods where he and Nancy raised their children. In 2005 Thomas and Nancy moved to Flagler Beach, where he continued to share his love for nature, the ocean and the turtles. Thomas became a sea turtle monitor in 2005 and served the turtles throughout the remainder of his life.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for November 12, 2022 at 4pm at Coastal Family Church of Flagler Beach, 208 S 6th St, Flagler Beach, FL 32136.
