Suzette K. Pellicer, 75, of Bunnell, entered into rest November 17, 2022. Suzette was born in St. Augustine to Herschel and Peggy King on January 28, 1947. She was a 1964 graduate of Bunnell High School and attended the University of Georgia in Athens. Suzette started working for the Flagler County Tax Collector’s Office in November of 1965 and went on to be elected Tax Collector of Flagler County in 1980. After her retirement Suzette remained with the office as a part time employee until September 2022 culminating 57 years of continuous service to Flagler County.
While not working Suzette lived a quiet and private life close to home. She enjoyed spending time with family, regular poker nights with friends, completing home improvement projects, UGA football and what she called “jammy days”. She was most happy when she was able to just “putter around the house”.
