

Mr. Presley was born in Minetto, New York, and raised in Pulaski, New York. After graduating from high school, he started working in construction with Brunalli Construction Company. He worked his way up to being a Bridge Superintendent, and retired in 1992 after 40 years. With his job, he travelled throughout the entire North East. When he retired, he wanted to move somewhere warm, and he and his wife moved to Palm Coast in 1992. Mr. Presley enjoyed construction, building things, remodeling, plumbing and electrical work. In 1950 he built his families first house. He loved being outdoors, tending to his lawn and garden, he also enjoyed hunting and target shooting.
He leaves his wife of 70 years, the former Carol Chaplin, whom he married July 1, 1950. Three children, Raymond (Stephanie) Presley, Jr., of Palm Coast, Florida; Debra (Hank) Schultz of Colonie, New York; James (Lori) Presley of Cobleskill, New York; one sister Nila Guiles of Cicero, New York; Nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He also leaves numerous nieces, and nephews, and his beloved Terrier, Lilly.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings, Edna Halsey, Ethel Webb, Everett Presley, and Fay Presley.
