Nancy, previous resident of Jersey City, NJ received her bachelor’s degree from St. Elizebeth College in Morristown, NJ. She valued education and encouraged others to do the same. Nancy, who had a strong work ethic, worked in upper management for AT&T for over 30 years. She also worked part time simultaneously at Dickinson High School until she retired.
After retiring from AT&T, Nancy moved to Florida following her cousin Judy, Aunt Lillie, and Uncle Ralph. She brought a home in Palm Coast, Florida. While in Florida, she became a member of Voyager Church. She also began making crafts to sell during the holidays. She enjoyed volunteer work and was a devoted donator to the St. Jude’s children’s hospital.
Nancy enjoyed reading novels, writing poetry, gardening, doing DIY projects and arts & crafts. She was able to get a few of her poems published. She began taking piano lessons. She also had a love for sports cars which led to her owning two corvettes and a Camaro for most of her driving years. Nancy also had a love for butterflies which was shown through her house, jewelry and even in her published poem “Watch the Butterfly”.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Gloria Corprew, Grandsons (Lamar Warnick, Jamil Corprew) Granddaughter Alicia Corprew, Sister Cynthia Anderson great grandchildren (Tyanna, Malik, Leila) nieces & nephews and a host of cousins. Preceding her was her mother Lynette Anderson, her brother Clyde Anderson, sister Brenda Miller, and Son Rodney Warnick.
