Mary Elizabeth Manno “Gramie, Peggy”, 89, of Palm Coast, FL, entered into rest unexpectedly October 10th, 2023. Mary was born to Paul and Elizabeth Kukish on November 9th, 1933, in New Britain, CT. Mary lived in New Britain and Kensington, CT, with her late husband, John Manno, and late son, David Manno, for many years before her and John retired to Palm Coast, FL, to be near their son. She is survived by family members including two grandchildren, Amber Youngs and husband Jake of Beaufort, SC, and Anthony Manno of Ormond, FL, two great grandchildren, Audrina and Ella Youngs, two sisters in CT, sister-in-law Claudette Kukish, and several nieces, nephews, and friends near and far.
Mary worked several years for the New Britain Public School system before retiring to Palm Coast, FL. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and long-time volunteer at the former Florida Hospital Flagler. She loved spending time with family and friends, gardening, making flower arrangements, volunteering, playing cards, and traveling in her younger years. She was generous, thoughtful, and caring. Her smile and laugh will never be forgotten and will live on in the hearts of her family and friends who loved her.
A funeral mass and celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 3rd, at 2pm at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast. Family will receive friends from 1:30pm to 2pm. Arrangements are being handled by the Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home in Flagler Beach. Condolences may be sent to www.craigflaglerpalms.com.
