My heart goes out to each and every one of you at this most difficult time in our lives when a loved one is taken from us.   We will never be able to laugh, love, touch or sit together and just be.  They say time heals all and I am sure it does but it does not make it any better now.  Remember all the fun and happy times you were able to share and smile cause that is what she would have wanted.  I will miss her spitfire ways and terrific laugh.  I too with have a coke and think of Celia.

I will miss Celia coming into my office and talking with her. She was a sweet lady and we always shared a laugh or two when she came in.  I know she will be missed by so many people, and my condolences go out to every single one... Special hugs to you, Joe.

Dear Chano and family, I am so sorry to hear about your wife and mother.  Even though I don't recall having met her, reading her obituary, I know she must have been one very special lady.  Chano, even though I have now lived in Albuquerque more then twice as long as I did in Ventura, I still fondly think of our days at May Henning School and the Ventura Police Boys Club.  I don't recall calling our part of town "Tortilla Flats" but I do know that we were west end "River Rats".  I still and always will refer to Ventura as "Home".  Chano, (I still remember calling you "Shadow"),

Dear Chano, So sorry to hear of the losof your wife. My brother told me what a great person she was. My whole family will have you in our prayers. The Lorenzana family,  John,Tom,and Joe ,Francis Nichols,Mary Noel,Carol Shively and Victoria Judd.

Celia was a loving, caring, "mother" to us all at the Simi Courthouse.  One of my fondest memories of Celia was the fact that since we were both born in 1946, we were the same age but I, born in November, was "the younger".  May you find peace in God's love at this difficult time.  Fond memories of Celia will be with you forever.  Celia, you are probably laughing with the other angels and enjoying your Coke, and looking down on all your family and friends and ever watching out for them.

From the time I met Celia back in 1992, I remember after meeting her,  what a warm person she was, and how relax she made me feel. she welcome my children and I with open arms into her life and home, she became my mother in law, and I was truly blessed to have her in my life, I could talk to her and she was a great listener, she always had something nice to say, her heart was so generous not only with family but with friends and strangers. I remember all the food she use to cook and boy could she cook up a storm, always enough to feed all who enter, all thou we drifted apart, I will always be grateful for having her in my life and thankful for her kindness, you will be missed Celia, but I do know you are with God, our heavenly Father, may you all find peace with the wonderful memories you shared

We may have lost you here on earth, but the Lord has added a great person to his kingdom in Heaven. Celia you are missed. I will never forget the good times we shared.

Mom I don't know how I'm going to get through the rest of my life with out you but I know you would want me to keep going. Hello my name is Brianna and I took care of Celia while she was at Fillmore convalescent center and I am very shocked and sadden by this loss. She was one of the sweetest ladies ever. I'm sorry for your loss. May you rest in peace Celia.
