He is survived by his wife, Patricia Raih of Fayetteville, WV and their two children, Kevin Raih of Burlington, KY and Kerry Guerini of Fayetteville, WV. He is also survived by two brothers, Robert Raih of Isle of Palms, SC and Richard Raih of Logansport, IN, and three grandsons, Braydon Raih, Kamden Raih and Querino Guerini.
Father Raih served the people of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Gas City, IN for 10 years. He served three Episcopal churches in Ohio for four years and three Episcopal churches in West Virginia for four years.
He was a volunteer at Augusta Elementary School, Romney Elementary School and at Hampshire Nursing Home and the Romney Food Pantry.
Father Raih retired in 2001 and moved from Romney to Florence, KY in 2012. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Florence, KY. He was ordained 50 years ago at St. Meinrad Seminary in IN.
There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Oak Hill, WV on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1 PM with the Right Reverend Mike Klusmeyer, Bishop of WV presiding.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St, Andrews Episcopal Church or Hospice of Southern West Virginia.
