Ted White

Edward Robert White, born on September 3rd, 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia, passed away peacefully on October 19th, 2024 at 54 years old. He was a beloved brother, partner, father, and grandfather.

Ted lived a life rich with love and selflessness. He spent several decades working as an IT professional, where he was known for his valuable expertise and strong work ethic. His passion for music, cooking, and drawing laughter brought joy to his life and to all those who knew and loved him.

Outside of his professional life, Ted was an avid enjoyer of live music, sports, and politics. He had a deep love for the reggae genre. His cooking skills were something he generously shared with friends and family.

Ted had a big heart. He was a pillar of strength for his family, and held a deep love for family gatherings. His favorite family vacations were spent annually at Bethany Beach, Delaware.

His legacy will continue through the countless lives he touched with his energy, humor, ideals, and values. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion, which will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Ted is survived by his loving partner Juvy Varquez, his children Robbie White, Andrew White, and Alyssa White, and his grandchildren Olivia White and Philip White, along with his mother Mary White, and brothers Stephen and William White.

A funeral mass will be held at Saint James Catholic Church on Monday, November 4th at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Colon Cancer Alliance for Research and Education for Lynch Syndrome in honor of Ted’s memory.
