Obituary of Ronald G Morgan
Ronald George Morgan, 84, of Arlington, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2023 in Herndon. Ron was born in Warwick, RI to George and Eleanor Morgan on April 19, 1939. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island (1961) and Naval Office Candidate School (1962). He was married to Virginia Morgan (1962-1981) and they adopted five children. He worked as an Auditor for the General Accounting Office, retiring in 1994 and was a retired Captain in the US Naval Reserve. He lived a great life and said so often. He had a loving family, lots of grandchildren, a devoted life partner in Hien and enjoyed his retirement years. He volunteered with many organizations, met wonderful people, many became life long friends. It was these friends that he and Hien traveled with around the world. He enjoyed his family, the barbecues, the parties, and playing card games. His favorite part was saying he was getting too old to be any good at these games; and later, laughing after annihilating everyone. Ron is preceded in death by his loving partner, Hien Nyugen and his sister, Leslie Croce. Ron is survived by his children Jeffery Morgan (Cheryl), Greg Morgan (Terri), Sharon Kovach (Steve), Michael Morgan, Eddie Morgan, sister Cheryl Parker, niece Erica Regan and 12 amazing and loving grandchildren.
