Nancy Jeanne Pruitt affectionately known to her grandchildren as “Nonni”, departed this life on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. She was born in Waterford, New York on May 26, 1948 to the late Luigino and Kathryn Pallozzi.
Nancy moved from Waterford, New York to Northern Virginia around 1968. Nancy had a very exciting career in the Intelligence field. She worked at NCIS, the Pentagon and the White House for many years. Nancy often joked “If I really told you what I do for a living I would have to kill you”.
Many were touched by Nancy’s unconditional love. She is described as an angel who always put the needs of others first. Nancy was never one to judge but could always be counted on for a great meal and even better conversation. Nancy had an infectious sense of humor and could brighten anyone’s day. Nancy had a love for dancing and listening to all types of music, especially Motown. Nancy is most known for the love she held for her family. She cherished every moment she had with her beloved daughters and grandchildren.
Nancy leaves to cherish wonderful memories: her children, Colleen and Stephanie. Four grandchildren, Shayla (14), Tobias (9), Luigino (5) and Sekai (7mos). Two brothers, Bill (Doris) and Dennis, cousin Beverly (Jim), a host of nieces and nephews, as well as former spouse George (Christine).
