John Redden was born in Quantico, VA to a US Navy family. He grew up with his younger sister in Falls Church, VA. He attended both Northern Virginia Community College and American University receiving first a B.S. in Biology and Microbiology. Then an M.S. in Biology from American University.
John worked for 27 years in the pesticide program of the USEPA. He is also a published author. He enjoyed drawing, painting, reading, writing, yard work and jogging, as well as chasing his grand nieces and nephew.
He leaves behind his wife Sherrie, sister Ramona Pugh, brother in law Jack Pugh, sister in law Liz Munsey, nieces and nephews Melissa Cessna and her husband Craig, Calli Keefer and her husband Josh, Tori Pugh, Michael Munsey and his wife Candice, as well as his grand nieces and nephew, Kaylan, Mackenzie, Casey and Kamryn. He also leaves behind many countless friends.
