Irene Cautilli

Irene Cautilli was born August 22,1939 and died on August 30, 2023 having just turned 84. She was married for 62 years to her husband, Lawrence Cautilli Sr.; had 2 children, Larry Cautilli Jr. and Beth Ann Cautilli, 3 grandchildren, Molly, Amy, and Tony, and many other beloved family members.

Everyone who knew her called Irene kind because she always found the best in a person and without fail always found something nice to say to make a person feel special.

Irene was a peacemaker. Her threshold for forgiveness knew no bounds.

Being a Grandma brought pure joy to her heart. She liked to laugh and tell stories to her grandchildren and she loved to cook for them.

She was a woman of strong faith and relied on prayer to help her in difficult situations.

She embodied the role of family caretaker. It was who she was. Her love for her family and friends overflowed her heart.

Irene had a beautiful soul and she will be missed more than words can say.

A visitation for Irene will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. A committal service will occur Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042. A reception will occur Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
