Devin Edmond Laster

PSALM 29: 11 The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. Devin Edmond Laster was the youngest of four sons born to the union of Benjamin and Deann Laster, in Chicago Illinois on February 01,1979. The name, Devin, means peaceful and poetic. Devon’s life reflected his name. When he entered into a room he would bless you with his beautiful warm smile and peaceful spirit. And like the verses of a well written poem, he lived his life with a distinctive style and rhythm. Devin was poetry in motion. He enjoyed cycling, rock climbing, and traveling to exciting, adventurous destinations around the world. Devin visted Brussells, Monte Carlo, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Luxemberg, Holland, India and Brazil. Devin loved his family, friends, man’s best friend (his dog, Monty) and his fiancé, Consita. They were planning to publicly express their love for one another on April 20, 2012. On March 10, 2012, Devon embarked on a peaceful journey to heaven, to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memories: His parents, Benjamin and Deann; brothers Daryl (Natasha) Derrick, David (Lance), three nieces, Angelique, Sienna, and Tatianna; three nephews, Derrick Jr., Justin and Ayden; two aunts, Margaret and Rosemary, two uncles, Joe and Frazier, his fiancé, Consita Wulandsari, and a host of cousins and friends.
