Barbara is still such an important person and special influence in my life. I first knew her as music director at Church of the Nativity and watched as she directed my mom in choir. As I got into my teens, I was her voice student and continued to come back to her for lessons as I prepared for auditions in college and even as a church cantor myself in young adulthood. Now she's with me as the voice in my head gently reminding me of vocal tips while I sing my children to sleep. May she be fully at rest now and in perfect harmony.

I had a wreck of a car (it cost $200 in 1957).  Bobby's mother absolutely forbid her to ride in it.  It was my pride and joy.  1949 Buick convertible with dual exhausts and electric windows and top.  Someone had to pull on the windows and top to get them moving.  Just a fun memory.

We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Inzana's passing.  Our son was one of her viola students for several years, and we have fond memories of her teaching him how to play.  We only learned of her passing today, but we still wanted to let you know that we send our condolences on your loss.

Bobbie and  I have been friends since grade school.  .  I remember her driving her dad's Cadillac to Milwaukee for pizza, staying overnight at her sister's so we could go to the WCAC convention in Milwaukee, many parties and sleepovers or as we called them "slumber parties" .  I remember staying with her  in Illinois when she taught  in Deerfield. Having Manhattens and London Beef at her  aunts in Chicago . Oh. So many memories.   Waiting for her to get her makeup on.  Her great love and knowledge of music.  Her informative Christmas letters.  May she be singing with the angels.


I have many happy memories of Bobby from high school and after.  We were in  band together and many other classes at CMHS in Waukesha.  Her mom was the best party hostess and there were many parties in her home.  We've kept in touch through emails.
I'll miss connecting with her.

Marji (Marcoe) du Chelas

I first met Barbara when she was choir director at the Church of the Nativity in Burke, VA.  We soon became friends and my two daughters took music lessons from her for many years.  She was always upbeat and loved sharing her musical ability with others.   We periodically would get together and share tea and great conversation.    We all get busy with our own lives, but we still kept in touch with periodic phone conversations.    I know that she considered  music as the key to contentment and I am sure she is now surrounded by outstanding musical renditions by her favorite composers.
