My name is Nick Bardis, and I am a recent former employee of the Water Environment Federation (WEF) in Alexandria. I worked often with both Alan and others when I worked in the Gov. Affairs department at WEF; alongside with Tim Williams; a former employee at WEF.

Alan and I share the same faith, have the same sense/style of humor (Go Sox! lol) and I always enjoyed our conversations alongside work topics. When Alan passed, it was an extremely sad day for me. Alan, like my dad who passed in 2017, had integrity, honor, and most of all, (as mentioned previously) he had a profound sense of humor along with his incredible grasp of issues surrounding water.  I think of Alan often.
