Stacey Ann (Arruda) Martins, age 44, of Fall River, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Charlton Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family after a brief fight with cancer. Born in Fall River she was the beloved daughter of Charlene (Lessard) Arruda and the late Manuel Arruda.
Stacey graduated from Durfee High School, Class of 1996 and was part of the Bristol Community College class of 2000. Stacey was an avid competitive dancer and traveled as far as Las Vegas to compete. She was currently employed as a CNA with IntelyCare.
Stacey was a workaholic who devoted most of her life caring for others. When she was awarded free time she could be found playing pool in various leagues and attending her son’s football games on Friday nights.
Those who knew Stacey, knew she was a free spirit, with a contagious laugh, a smile that could light up any room and a heart of gold.
Besides her mother she is survived by two children, Ayden James and Lexie Marie Martins, both of Swansea and two sisters, Jenna Arruda and Justine Conceicao and her husband Jonathan all of Fall River as well as one niece, one nephew as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by a Service in the funeral home at 4:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited.
