Born in Hong Kong a son of the late Nai Jiang Tang and the late Chiu Mui he had been a resident of Fall River for 45 years.
He earned a bachelor degree from University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and had a successful career as a chemist for the Roman Chemical Company for many years before his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, David Tang and his wife Pamela and Thomas Tang and his wife Colleen and five grandchildren, Zackary, Gwendolyn, Gillian, Teegan and Cailyn Tang. He was predeceased by his five siblings.
His Funeral will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 9:00 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME AT CHERRY PLACE, 178 Winter Street, Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 1335 North Main Street, Fall River. His burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River. Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Contributions may be made in his honor to American Cancer Society.
