Paul J. Ferreira

Paul J. Ferreira, “Pauly,” age 49, of Fall River, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 in Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Fall River, a son of Hilda (Resendes) Ferreira of Fall River and the late Eugene Ferreira, he was a lifelong area resident.

He attended Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School, and worked as a forklift operator at Blount Fine Foods. Prior to that, Paul worked as a receiving clerk at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

An avid New England sports team fan, he loved the Patriots, fishing, and animals, especially dogs.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters: Krystal Todd and her husband Eric of Tiverton, Kayla Ferreira of Fall River, brother: David Ferreira and his wife Sandra of Largo, FL, partner: Christine Lingard of Fall River, four grandchildren: Lauren, Alexander, and twins Connor and Owen, one niece: Ashley Ferreira of Fall River, one nephew: Clinton Ferreira of Riverview, FL, and former wife Kimberly Welchman of Fall River.

His Funeral will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 8:00AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Rd., Fall River. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
