Born in Fall River, he was the son of Kenneth Price and Debra (Shipley) Cerullo.
It was the disease of addiction that took Matt’s life too early. To say that Matt lived life on his own terms is an understatement. While he struggled for many years with addiction, we are choosing to remember Matt for his kindness, compassion, and an awesome sense of humor with an amazing ability to make you laugh. He was an avid fisherman, a talented artist, a gamer, a lover of memes and the word “whatevs.” He loved his family and friends fiercely. We are heartbroken at the sudden loss of Matt and will miss him dearly.
Besides his parents, Matt is survived by his paternal grandmother, M. Irene Price of Fall River; his stepmother Mary Price of Fall River; two sisters Kelly Price and her spouse Jonathan Fontaine of Lincoln, RI and Lauren Cerullo of East Providence, RI; and two nieces, Isabelle Fontaine, and Hannah Allard.
Visitation will be held on July 22, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River, followed by a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
