Joyce Sullivan, age 76, of Tiverton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at St. Anne’s Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Loretta M. (Kiley) Sullivan and the step-daughter of the late Dorothy “Dot” (Sisson) Sullivan.
Joyce spent many years as a telephone operator for Verizon, retiring approximately 15 years ago. Before her career with the telephone company, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing compassionate care to others. Outside of work, Joyce was a member of the Portuguese Progressive Club and found joy in hobbies such as bowling, ceramics, and playing Bingo.
Joyce is survived by her sister, Mary Sandra Sullivan of Fall River, her beloved dog, Penny, as well as many relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
