Born in Fall River, he was the son of Amelia (Bettencourt) Cabral and the late Roger T. Cabral, Jr.
Dennis was a diesel mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, going to the casino, and most of all being with his family.
Besides his mother Amelia and long-time companion Kathleen, survivors include: two daughters, Katelyn Cabral and her husband Chris Cabral and Alyssa Cabral and her boyfriend Alexander Mendonca; one brother, Roger Cabral and his wife Roxanne Silva of Fall River; two granddaughters, Azalea and Skyyla; one grandson on the way and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Pamela J. Cabral.
His visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Waring–Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter Street, Fall River, followed by his funeral service at 12:30 pm in Church of the Holy Spirit, 160 Rock St., Fall River. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
