Born in Fall River, Charles was the son of the late Charles B. Sr. and Blanch (Labrie) Gagnon. A lifelong resident of the city, he took great pride in his community and its history.
Charles honorably served in the United States Army during World War II, a time that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty. Together with his wife, he co-founded C & B Association, Inc., a textiles consulting company, after serving as president of the former Hope Webbing. His career reflected his dedication and passion for the industry.
A graduate of the former Msgr. Prevost High School, Charles furthered his education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Bryant University. He enjoyed golf and was an active member of the Crestwood and Fall River Country Clubs.
Above all, Charles cherished time spent with his family. He was a proud grandfather and could often be seen at his grandchildren’s sporting events, cheering them on with enthusiasm.
