Barbara loved driving anywhere! Her favorite places and things to do included: watching the ocean waves before a storm; trips to Cape Cod, Newport, Maine, and New Hampshire to see the Autumn colors, the view of lower Manhattan from Ellis Island, the Staten Island Ferry, Broadway Musicals, Christmas in Manhattan, Tanglewood, Andrea Bocelli and Josh Groban concerts and most of all she loved her time visiting her daughter in Rhinebeck, NY and the Carmelite Sisters Motherhouse in Germantown, NY. Sitting on the Cloister Walk overlooking the Hudson River and the Catskill Mountains was her favorite place.
