Alfred R. “Freddy” Levesque, age 87, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River a son of the late Albert A. and Mary F. (Driscoll) Levesque he was a lifelong resident of the city.
Freddy was a huge fan of the Providence Bruins, he loved to cheer them on in person while enjoying a stadium hotdog. An avid bowler, he was a member of the Nazareth Bowling League. He enjoyed doing puzzles, coloring and dining out for fish and chips. He was also a cancer survivor.
He is survived by one cousin, Keith Bernier; caregiver and friend Manuela Senay and guardian, J. Michael Roberts. He was the cousin of the late Mary Anne Bernier.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 9:00 AM from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Cherry Place, 178 Winter St., Fall River followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St., Fall River. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Monday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to People Inc., 4 South Main St., Fall River, MA 02721. Burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Fall River.
