Raquel L. Garza

Raquel Lopez Garza entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 85. She was born on October 21, 1934 to Juan Pedro Lopez, Sr. and Maria Del Refugia Hinojosa Lopez in Falfurrias. Raquel worked for over 10 years as a Store Clerk for Donahoo Jewelry Inc.

Raquel is preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Maria Lopez and her husband, Jose Rene Garza.

She is survived by her son, Ricardo Rene (Lesvia) Garza of McAllen, Texas; daughters, Marina (Gustavo) Trevino of Falfurrias and Melissa Garza of Austin, Texas; brothers, Juan Pedro (Diana B.) Lopez, Jr. of Falfurrias and Mario Octavio (Pearl) Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Alida Sirus of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias with services concluding at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
