Oralia M. Arevalo

Oralia M. Arevalo entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 79. She was born on February 22, 1937 to Lorenzo Maldonado and Evangelina Ramirez Maldonado in Falfurrias. Oralia worked for Brooks County ISD in the school cafeteria for over 30 years until her retirement. She was the pillar of the family and was extremely faithful to the Lord. She continually sent donations to the ministries in Israel. Oralia also loved to cook for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica (Bernal) Rios of Falfurrias; four sons, Gilberto (Rhonda) Arevalo, Jr., Jose Orlando (Chris) Arevalo and Manuel (Lolita) Arevalo all of Falfurrias and Daniel Arevalo of Riviera, Texas; seven brothers, Flavio (Fidela) Maldonado of Falfurrias, Lorenzo Maldonado of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mario (Michelle) Maldonado of Falfurrias, Xavier (Tina) Maldonado of San Antonio, Texas, George (Rachel) Maldonado of San Antonio, Joel (Elva) Maldonado of Falfurrias and Samuel (Norma) Maldonado of Falfurrias; four sisters, Idalia (Martin) Alaniz of Premont, Texas, Eudelia Aguilar of Alice, Texas, Mandi (Roger) Dominguez of San Antonio and Yolanda Maldonado of Falfurrias; 30 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Flavio Maldonado, Lorenzo Maldonado, Javier Maldonado, George Maldonado, Samuel Maldonado, Mario Maldonado, Mario Herrera, Larry Herrera and Robert Perez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gilbert Arevalo, C.J. Arevalo and Daniel Arevalo.

Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Falfurrias.
