Omar Vidal Garcia passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at his residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 51. He was born on April 21, 1971 to Vidal D. Garcia and Margarita Perez Jasso in Falfurrias. He worked as a truck driver for many years throughout his lifetime. Omar enjoyed spending time out at the ranch and having dinners with his family at Kings Inn in Riviera, Texas. He had a big heart and was a great father and an even better grandfather. His children and grandchildren were his pride and joy. His favorite pastime was playing PlayStation games with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Reymunda and Castulo Garcia; maternal grandparents, Jose and Anita C. Perez; nephew, Orlando “JR” Villarreal, Jr.; uncle, Abelardo Garcia and cousin, Max Garcia.
Omar is survived by his daughter, Jamber Garcia of Falfurrias; two sons, Omar V. (Breanna Pena) Garcia, II of Falfurrias and Isaiah Omar (Cindy) Garcia stationed in Hawaii; father, Vidal D. (Rita) Garcia of Premont, Texas; mother, Margarita Perez (Juan) Jasso, Jr. of Falfurrias, sisters, Velma (Michael) Higgs of Valley, Alabama and Iris (Daniel) Galindo of Fort Worth, Texas; 5 grandchildren, Kristian Vidal Garcia, Tyler Garcia, Kahlia Garcia, Dakstyn Garcia and Dredyn Garcia; his pet dog, Pebbles and many nieces, nephews and many extended family members and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the New Covenant Church in Falfurrias with Visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m.
