Olivia C. Plata entered into eternal rest on Friday, July 10, 2020 at her residence in Falfurrias, Texas at the age of 87. She was born on June 3, 1933 to Esteban Casanova and Maria Trevino Casanova in Falfurrias, Texas. She worked for many years as a housekeeper, provider and babysitter. In her spare time, she enjoyed attending dances and fiestas.
Olivia was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents, two infant sons and all of her siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, Maria N. (Marcus) Lopez of Falfurrias; grandchildren, Michelle Lopez and Noe Lopez both of Falfurrias; seven great-grandchildren; father of her children, Manuel Plata of Falfurrias and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearer will be Ricky Casanova, Richie Mata, Esteban Solis, Ben Garcia, Robert Ramirez and Manuel Plata, Jr.
