Martha was born on March 17, 1967 to Alonzo and Delia Guerra.
Martha is preceded in death by her father, Alonzo P. Guerra, her sister Glenda Guerra Baez and numerous other relatives.
Left to cherish the many happy memories of Martha includes her mother, Delia Carpentier Guerra, her husband, Israel Corrales, Sr., her children, Andrea (Robert) Gonzalez, Israel Corrales, Jr., David Javier (Alexandria) Corrales, Rene Omar Villarreal, and Nilda (Angelo) Gonzalez. Martha is also survived by her siblings, Cynthia (Jose) Betancourt, Jose (Maria) Guerra, Joel (Molly) Guerra, Christi (Benito) Cantu, Erica Guerra, and Alonzo (Melinda) Guerra. Martha is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As a grandmother, she brought immense joy to her grandchildren’s lives, filling each moment with laughter and unconditional love. Her family was her pride, and every gathering was brighter with her presence. Martha is survived by 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren that she loved very much.
Martha was known for her warmth, her sense of humor, and her lively spirit. She had a passion for singing, especially the songs of Selena, whose music filled her heart and echoed through her home. Whether singing along or dancing to the rhythm, Martha’s presence could transform any gathering into a celebration. She brought joy, laughter, and a spark of life to all who were blessed to know her.
She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, siblings, mother, and countless friends who were blessed to have known her. Martha’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her, serving as a reminder of her gentle nature and the legacy of love she leaves behind.
May Martha Guerra Corrales rest in peace, forever dancing and singing among the stars.
Visitation will start at 9:00 a.m. with a Holy Rosary at 9:30 a.m. followed with a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
