Maria Emma H. Garza

Maria Emma H. Garza entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at a hospital in Waco, Texas at the age of 86. She was born on September 12, 1928 to Jose Hinojosa and Enriqueta Moreno Hinojosa in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Maria was a housewife who was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She was dedicated to the church and was a Guadalupana for many years. Maria was welcomed into the gates of Heaven by her parents; her husband, Nicolas Garza; her son, Omar Garza; two grandsons, Jesus Quintanilla, III and Chris Maldonado; two brothers and one sister. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her two sons, Nicolas (Norma) Garza and Jose Manuel (Imelda) Garza both of Falfurrias, Texas; three daughters, Mirna Quintanilla and Sylvia Maldonado both of Falfurrias and Monica Morante of Waco; one brother, Ruben (Maria) Hinojosa of Escobares, Texas; one sister, Elida (Ovidio) Hinojosa de Gutierrez of Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, Mexico; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Jose Garza, Omar Garza, Jr. Bobby Garza, Nick Garza, Tony Morante and Alex Morante.

Funeral Service will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
