Manuel Luna, Jr., 85, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at his residence in Hebbronville, Texas, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 3, 1939 to Manuel Luna, Sr. and Viviana Silva in Orange Grove, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Erasmo and Enrique Luna; son-in-law, Eddie Ray Gomez.
His memories will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Maria C. Luna; children, Pamela Gomez, Melissa (David, Jr.) Morales, Manuel “Sonny” (Icela) Luna, III, and Jessica Renee (Samuel Jaime) Ramirez all of Hebbronville; siblings, Estorgio Luna, Esmeralda Gonzalez, Zeke Luna and Elodia Crisp all of Alice, Texas and Esther Luna of Austin, Texas; grandsons, David Morales, III, Michael Morales and Christopher Morales; six great-grandchildren and many extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Luna, David Morales, Jr., Samuel Ramirez, David Morales, III, Michael Morales and Christopher Morales. Honorary Pallbearers will be Noah Morales, Ava Morales, Adam Morales, Gemma Marshall, Zachary Morales and Camila Morales.
Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville. Services will conclude with Burial at the Greenhill Cemetery in Jim Hogg County.
