Jesus "Chuy" Morin, Jr.

Jesus “Chuy” Morin, Jr., 57, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the University Hospital in San Antonio, TX. He was born on January 2, 1955 to Jesus Morin, Sr. and Cristelia Castillo Morin in Falfurrias, Texas. Jesus was a proud U. S. Border Patrol agent for over 27 years until his retirement. He is formally of Falfurrias but also resided in San Diego, California for seven years, Laredo, Texas for 18 years and was currently living in Corpus Christi, Texas for the past ten years. He impacted many people with his passion and strong will for life, family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife of over ten years, Maria Del Rosario “Chayo” Reyes Morin of Corpus Christi, TX; son, Jesus Morin, III of Corpus Christi, TX; two daughters, Sophia Angela (Matt Volpe) Morin and Yvonne Marie Morin both of San Diego, CA; mother, Cristelia Morin of Falfurrias, TX; siblings, Juan Morin and Sulema (Andres) Garza both of Falfurrias, TX; three grandchildren, Alyson, Isaac and Angel and numerous nieces and nephews.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to all the staff at the University Hospital for their care and compassion for Jesus and to the family and friends for the all prayers and support. It is greatly appreciated.

Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Falfurrias, Texas with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Falfurrias. Burial will follow at the Falfurrias Burial Park.
