Diego Perez

Diego Perez, of Premont, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Jim Wells County, Texas at the age of 24. He was born on January 26, 1996 to Jose Romeo Perez and Petra Ruiz in Edinburg, Texas.

Diego is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Matilde and Glafira Perez, maternal grandparents, Antonia and Rafael Ruiz and uncle, Rolando Perez.

He leaves behind many fond memories that will be treasured by his mother, Petra (Antonio) Hernandez of Premont; father, Jose Romeo Perez of Encino, Texas; brothers, Jose Romeo (Candelaria Peralta) Perez, II of Encino and Cristian Damian Perez of Premont; step-sister, Angelica N. Hernandez of Premont; aunts, Nora Perez of Kingsville, Texas and Naida Perez of Rio Grande City, Texas; niece, Kaycee Viktoria Perez; nephew, Jose Angel Perez and cousins, Chelsea Perez, Jeremy Ortiz, Jaedyn Perez, Stephanie Perez, Nataly Perez, Juan Perez, Jr., Richard Garza, Adamaris Garza and Anthony Garza.

Pallbearers will be Martin Gonzalez, Brandon Salinas, Victor Villarreal, Jr., Orlando Perez, Jesum Lopez, Benito Marinez, Roel Perez and Jeremy Ortiz.

Private Family Services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 for the family and a public Graveside Service will follow at 4:15 p.m. at the Perez- Luna/La Mesa Cemetery in Encino, Texas.
