Baldemar “Chacho” Cantu Vera of Falfurrias died on November 11, 2024. The affectionate and beloved father was a person of unwavering kindness, compassion, and strength. He touched the lives of all who knew him.
Balde was born in Rios, Texas on November 09, 1941. He was the son of the late Saturnino and Emilia Vera and grew up with ten siblings who all worked hard and loved each other dearly. He always found the time to help people in need when it came to fixing any problems they had, never asking for anything in return. Balde loved spending time with his family and enjoyed sitting with his friends under the tree enjoying a cold beer.
Balde is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Daniel and Edward Vera and niece, Carolyn Lichtenberger.
