Abelino A. Arredondo entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at a nursing home in Hebbronville, Texas, surrounded by his family at the age of 69. He was born on October 16, 1954 in Hebbronville to Victor Arredondo Sr. and Sofia Molina.
He worked for Jim Hogg County ISD before his retirement. He was well known to many of the students and staff members. Abelino was also involved in the Jim Hogg County Fair and loved going to the ranch and being outdoors.
Abelino is preceded in death by his parents and son, Adrian Arredondo.
He leaves behind many precious memories that will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Melecia G. Arredondo of Hebbronville; daughter, Sylvia (Ruben) Gonzalez of Hebbronville; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Arredondo of Odem, Texas; sisters, Elvia A. (Gilbert) Gonzalez of Hebbronville and Elida Garza of Hebbronville; grandchildren, Brandon M. Arredondo, Brinley Grace Arredondo, Estephen, Elysha, Luis, Julio, Claudio, Adrianna and Daniel Gonzalez; 13 great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Memorial Rosary will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Funeraria Del Angel Howard-Williams in Hebbronville with Visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.
