SUSAN ANN SAVAGE, age 75, passed away Wednesday September 29, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late William and Louise (Voet); loving sister of William, Thomas, and the late Robert; dear aunt of Lisa (Wes), Emily (Greg), Amanda (Eric), and Samantha; great aunt of Evelyn, Claire, and Juliet.
Susan was born in 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from Magnificat High School and did her undergraduate work at Case Western Reserve University. Susan then went on to receive her Master’s Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She was retired as an executive trainer with the World Bank and was multilingual, fluent in both French and Spanish. Susan was a long-time resident of Arlington, Virginia and took advantage of the area’s access to art, history, and culture. She was a devout member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Arlington and thoroughly enjoyed all of her work with the partner parish in Haiti. Susan was a fiercely independent woman with a big heart, and will be missed by many. All services are private.
