Josanne Marie Kurka, age 87, of Rocky River, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024.
She was born in Lakewood, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (nee Kilfoyle) Aylward. Josanne was the beloved wife of the late Charles William Kurka; dear sister of Karen Aylward, Kathlyn (Gino, deceased) Pitassi, Christine (Vonnie) Dean, James Aylward (deceased) and sister-in-law of Adele Kurka; cherished aunt, cousin and friend of many.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4PM-6PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 20820 Lorain Rd., Fairview Park 44126. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10AM at Mary Queen of the Apostles Church, 6455 Engle Rd., Brook Park 44142. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park.
