Emily was born in Detroit, Michigan to Marvin Vosburg and Sharon (Hudson) Vosburg. Growing up in Michigan and the greater Columbus area of Ohio, she graduated from Pickerington High School class of 1987. She attended Bowling Green State University where she received a B.S. in Journalism and a Master’s in American Culture Studies. At the time of her death, she was working for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. as a proposal writer. Previously, she had worked for Ernst and Young, and perhaps her most exciting job was working as an intern at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Emily loved to write and had a passion for music and art. At home, she loved spending time in her flower garden and with her fur babies, dogs: Arlo and Dolly, and cats: Lily and Robyn. Some of her most beloved memories were the summers she spent at the family lake cottage in Boyne Falls, Michigan. A dedicated friend, she was quick to send a card or provide words of encouragement when needed. She always seemed her happiest when dining out with friends or hosting them at her home.
Emily was the loving wife of Hugh Moore also of Fairview Park. She leaves her parents Marvin and Sharon Vosburg of N. Fort Myers, FL. Her loving and devoted sister Elizabeth (Vosburg) Mortimer and her husband Rev. Glenn Mortimer as well as her only Nephew whom she loved dearly, Matthew Mortimer all of Wakefield, Massachusetts. Her father-in-law Michael Moore, sister-in-law Maria (Moore) Knezovich and her husband Tim; and brothers–in–law Michael Moore and wife Kathy and Martin Moore. All of Columbus, Ohio. Emily was predeceased by her mother-in-law Janice Moore.
