Thomas “Tom” Patrick Hohn, 71, of Swansea, Illinois passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023. He was born September 27, 1952 in East St. Louis to Robert and Geralene (Fischer) Hohn. Tom was a registered nurse at Belleville Memorial for almost 40 years before retiring. Tom found immense joy in his artistic pursuits. He played the guitar and cello and enjoyed diving into a good book. Tom also enjoyed painting and teaching others his passion for painting. He was quick witted and always had a good dad joke to share. Toms artistic legacy and love for life will forever be remembered.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Barbara Hohn; daughter, Melisa Wheeler; grandchildren, Joshua Williams and Samantha Davis and several nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Phillip and Lorita.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
