She was born on November 26, 1942 in Fults Illinois, the daughter of the late Raymond and Frieda (Juelfs) Easton.
Joan married the love of her life Richard Caswell on August 25, 1962 in Waterloo, Illinois. He preceded her in death in 2014.
She was a member of O’Fallon Assembly of God, spending much of her time supporting Assembly of God’s Worlds Missions. In her free time she enjoyed crafting, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by three sons Richard (Elaine) Caswell of Senegal, West Africa, Randall (Lori) Caswell of Kankakee, IL, and Rodney (Kari) Caswell of Vandalia, IL; two daughters Julie Fuehne of Belleville, IL and Jennifer (Tim) Land of Cameroon, West Africa; thirteen grandchildren Katie, Kennan (Miranda), Lydia, Matthew, Bethany, Jonathan, Brayden, Caleb, Madeline, Michael, Olivia, Whitney, and Katelyn; in laws Ruth Caswell, Forrest (Mary Lou) Caswell, William (Mavis) Caswell, Carol (Ray) Zawodniak, and Ron Anna; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister Karen Anna and in law Robert Caswell.
