Janet Lee Goodwin

Janet was an avid bowler and loved to bake, sew, crochet, and make crafts. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, who loved her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Danny E. Goodwin, Sr.; a daughter, Janet Goodwin, in infancy; her parents, Thomas and Daisy, nee Nix, Harris; a brother, Roy Harris; two sisters, Loretta Folluo and Betty George; and two brothers-in-law, Wally George and Lester Walters.

Surviving are her children, Linda (Keith) Santamour, Danny E. Goodwin, Jr., both of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Sandy (Jim) Reed, and Chris (Denise) Goodwin, both of Belleville, Illinois; her grandchildren, Crystal (Chad Albers) Santamour, Kristin (Matt) Ryan, Avery and Jimmy Reed, Ryder, Gunner, and Xander Goodwin; a great granddaughter, Carmen; a brother, Jerry Harris; a sister, Peggy Walters; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Harris and Ann Harris; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Illinois.

Funeral: Services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Vance Vyers officiating. Interment will follow in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
