Esther was a 1961 graduate of Mt. Vernon Township High School in Mt. Vernon, IL. She was a loving Air Force wife who supported her family selflessly and whole-heartedly during Bill’s 26 years of active-duty service. In Beavercreek, OH, she was the co-owner of The Elite Boutique consignment shop. Esther was very active in church activities her entire life and for the past 29 years had been a prominent leader in her Methodist Women’s group. She was also an active volunteer with the USO of Missouri’s airport and mobile units. Esther, aka “Monga,” was well known for her gingerbread cookies and holiday cheeseball, her sweet Eileen, her love for the St. Louis Cardinals, and her collection of lucky buckeyes.
