Dorothy worked for Chester B. Franz Egg and Poultry in St. Louis in 1940’s and 1950’s and for Watkins products in the 1960’s and 1970’s and for the “Dandy Inn” until 1983. She also was a volunteer with the "Pink Ladies" at the Christian Welfare Hospital during the 1950's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter D. “Walt” Gould; her parents, Earl and Harriet Cox, nee Cotton and three sisters, Louise (Gilbert) Dudley, Betty (Jack) Crawford and Jeanne (Roy) Virgin.
Surviving is her son, Richard C. Gould of O’Fallon, Ill., and many nieces, nephews. extended family members and many friends as well as her special beloved dog, her love, Mitsi.

Visitation: Friends may call from 11:30 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Lake View Funeral home following the visitation with Rev. Jim Robinson officiating.
Upon her request, Dorothy Gould will be cremated with a private inurnment to be held in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
