Carolyn Ann Green

Carolyn was born September 27, 1944 in East St. Louis, IL to Tracy and Roberta (Harrington) Dobbs-Wells.

They preceded her in death, along with her brothers, James L. Dobbs, Samuel P. Dobbs, Dion K. Dobbs and Robert L. Dobbs; and her two dear friends, Janet Case and Patricia “Liz” Arnold.

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Tracy Ball-Eriksson (husband, Stefan) of Sweden; granddaughter, Erin Ball of Collinsville, IL; and sister, Deborah “Grace” Barnett of Collinsville, IL.

For over 40 years, Carolyn worked as an accountant for Graybar.

She was an active and devoted member of New Apostolic Church in Belleville, IL and Affton, MO. She truly had a heart of gold and made a lifelong friend with anyone she met. She was “Grandma” or “Aunt” to everyone, always caring for others and cherishing her time spent with friends and family. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Carolyn will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 4:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, IL.

A funeral will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Final interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
