Alan is preceded in death by his parents, James and Gloria Murray, daughter, Denise Murray, and brother, Steven Murray.
He is survived by wife Diann (Hunt) Murray of O’Fallon, Illinois, son Jeffery Murray of Zurich, Switzerland, daughters; Janelle (Jason) Clark of Shiloh, Illinois, Jennifer (Jake) McClain of Fountain Inn, SC, brother, David (Ester) Murray of (Springfield, MO), one sister, Ann Murray of (Millstadt, IL), six grandchildren Jason, Jillian, Brannon, Matthew, Rowan and Lily, and many, many friends.
Alan was in the Army Reserves, had earned two Master’s Degrees in Business and Finance. He had retired from AT & T and enjoyed Corvettes, golfing, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams, and above all else he loved his family dearly.
Due to the current limitations in place from corona virus, a private funeral was held Monday, May 11th, 2020 at Lake View Funeral Home.
