Born in New Bedford, son of the late Frank and Mary (Goulart) Costa. Husband of the late Joan (Winters) Costa.
He had resided in Fairhaven for most of his life.
Mr. Costa retired from the Titleist Plant in Acushnet. He was a Veteran and served in the Army National Guard for over 20 years. He proudly served in the Gulf War, Operation Desert Shield and Storm.
He is survived by his brother, Paul Costa of Plymouth, MA; surrogate daughters, Mary Foster of Falmouth, MA and Susan Guess of Ellsworth, ME and extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm with a Funeral Service at 12:30 pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Fairlawn, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
