Born in Wildwood, NJ a son of the late Leif and Anna (Hansen) Talgo he lived most of his life in Fairhaven.
Ducky worked as a fisherman and as a custodian at Diman Regional Voc-Tech High School. In his spare time, he loved to care for his garden, especially his renowned roses that bloomed beautifully in the summer. Ducky also loved spending time with his grandchildren and casino dates with his daughter Kathy. He loved being around the water and driving down to the docks to be near the water.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kathy Lavoie of Fairhaven and Donna Talgo-Boyer of Assonet; two step children Daniel Barboza of VA and Patricia Raymond of Acushnet; a sister, Loraine Farney of TN; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Norman Talgo, Alan “Hubba” Talgo, and Henrietta Slingsby.
His visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service to follow in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME at FAIRLAWN, 180 Washington St., Fairhaven.
