Margaret Scholz Murray

Beloved wife of the late William P. Murray Jr. whom she met while serving the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, in Washington, D.C. She is survived by her five children; Margaret Fregoso (Jeremy), William P. Murray III (Michelle), Joseph Murray (Kerri), Gina Murray and Cecilia Hunter (Anthony). Three grandchildren, William Fregoso, Jason Fregoso and Kristen Tripp and one great grandchild, Benjamin. She is also survived by her mother, Margaret H. Scholz and siblings, Brenda Wilson (Robin), Jennifer Scholz, John Scholz and predeceased by a sister, Mary Scholz. Also, survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Born the first of five children in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia to the late Walter J. Scholz and Margaret H. Scholz. Margaret attended school at St. Mary's Academy. Retired from the Fairfax County Government, Margaret was a long time resident of Northern Virginia. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Demaine Funeral Home, 10565 Main St, Fairfax. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 13807 Poplar Tree Rd, Chantilly, VA. Interment will be at 1:30PM at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA.
