John Robert Lehrer, age 75, of Fairfax, VA, passed away on July 28, 2016 at his residence. John was born September 13, 1940, in Toledo, OH, the son of the late William Lehrer and Elva Lehrer. Beloved husband of Jean; loving father of John (Marykate) and the late James; cherished grandfather of Emily, Andrew and Julia; dear brother of Bill (Janet) Lehrer of Orlando, FL; dearest brother-in-law of Joan (the late Richard) Wood of Tucson, AZ; uncle of Kristin Lehrer (Scott Dunbar) of Orlando, FL, Bill Lehrer (Patty Moody, and their daughter Dylan Lehrer) of Denver, CO, and Linda (Tony) Colucci, Donna (Robert) Waiter and Richard (Debra) Wood Jr. all of AZ. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 5-8 PM at Demaine Funeral Home - Fairfax, 10565 Main Street, Fairfax, VA. A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 11 AM at Truro Anglican Church, 10520 Main Street, Fairfax, VA. Interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park, Fairfax, VA.
